Our History
Cepas Leonesas was born from a passion for wine and a commitment to keeping alive the rich winemaking tradition of the León Denomination of Origin. Since our beginnings, we have worked with dedication to offer unique wines that reflect the character of our land. The winery has its roots in the 1940s, when José Llamas Ordás began cultivating extensive vineyards in Benazolve. Today, under the direction of Valentín Llamas Llamas, grandson of the founder, we continue to honor this legacy with every bottle.

Prieto Picudo and Albarín are the local gems we work with, complemented by other varieties such as Verdejo and Godello. The entire process is supervised by our winemaker, who ensures that each bottle is a faithful expression of the unique character of our region.
